Biography

When not involved in my "fun interests", my business passion is serving and exceeding the expectations of my clients who are buying or selling a residential property.

This is my twelfth year in Real Estate after a thirty year career as a senior manager with Marriott International and Sodexho Services in their Health Care Services business. I earned a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis on Hotel and Restaurant Management at Michigan State University. Also, I retired from the United States Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Medical Specialist Corps.

One of my passions is personal and professional development. It's the way that I am confident and assured that I can best represent the interests of my clients and be a great steward for them during their home buying or selling transaction. With that objective in mind, I have acquired the education and experience: to be licensed in the State of Maryland as an Associate Broker in Real Estate; and to earn the designation as a certificed Residential Specialist (less than 4% of all Realtors hold this advanced designation).

My business philosophy is simple:

Always serve my clients first and devote the majority of my professional time helping them to achieve their home ownership dreams. I solve problems and provide them with exceptional service so that transactions run smoothly. As a By Referral Only Personal Real Estate Consultant, my business can only grow my referrals from great people and those that they care about: their friends, relatives, and work associates.

My interests are so many and varied that its more than impossible to be bored. Activities that keep me busy include: visiting with my grown children and grand children; relaxing at home with my wife of 44 years, Marilyn; services and activities at Gloria Dei! Lutheran Church; playing with our two long haired dauchunds - Annie and Brie; rowing my shell on the Severn River or sailing my Hobie Cat; gardening; reading adventure novels; rowing a shell on the Severn River my alternative to jogging); working out; watching Navy sports; and listening to good music from our extensive CD collection. Life is good!
